HOKKAIDO PART 5: MUSLIM FRIENDLY ASAHIKAWA

Assalamualaikum & hello everyone! I.AM.BACK!!!!

Harini nak sambung share pasal Jepun lah. So haritu aku dah cerita pasal hotel kitorang kat Asahikawa kan? Jadi harini nak cerita sikit pasal makanan yang hmmm takdelah status halal 100% macam kat Malaysia ni, tapi makanan yang Muslim-friendly lah. Sebab Jepun tu bukan negara Islam kan. Islam kat sana pun minoriti je, so kalau nak cari yang ada logo halal macam kita kat sini memang susah la hahaha. Ok jom kita mulakan!

Before aku pergi Jepun, aku dah consult dulu dengan member2 aku yang pernah study kat Jepun, macam mana nak tahu makanan tu halal/ Muslim-friendly ke tak? Kedai mana je yang boleh makan? So member aku berbaik hati share Muslim-friendly food map untuk Asahikawa. Malangnya phone aku rosak, map tu semua ada kat phone lama tu huwarghhh! So aku akan share apa yang ada jelah ek uhuks!

1. Asahikawa Ramen Ichikura

This was our first ever meal upon arriving in Hokkaido. We were randomly looking for halal restaurants in Asahikawa and we decided to go here. we got lost while looking for the restaurant but finally we found it! I present to you....tadaa!!! Ramen Ichikura!

Memang daebak gila laa! Tapi yang kitorang syok tu kat situ takde air panas tau. Kat kedai tu ada air kosong sejuk je tau. Dahla musim Winter, pastu takde jual air panas ahahha! Ada air kosong siap ada ais tau! Terkejut iolls!

Kalau korang tahu lah kan, biasanya kalau ikut resipi asal Jepun, ramen dimasak menggunakan sup yang pork based tau. Tapi sebab katanya kedai ni halal, aku takdela tanya pakcik tu dia gantikan apa untuk halal ramen dia LOL. Satu lagi sebab aku tak tanya adalah sebab orang Jepun tak reti cakap English uhukss so hmmm redho jelah. Memang tawakkal je makan kat sana, asalkan kita yakin kedai tu kata Muslim-friendly, thats the best we can get there lah walaupun takde sijil halal apa semua.

However, aku ada jumpa kat satu website ni tentang restoran ni. Dia ada share tentang bahan substitute yang orang tu guna untuk Muslim-friendly ramen dia. Sila lihat dibawah:

Ramen dia okay lah, I wouldn't say its the best, but as long as it's halal, what else could I ask for right when I'm there?

2. Tohachi Restaurant

Tohachi sells, uhmmm I'm not so sure but it says it sells Muslim-friendly food ahahaha. This time, we got lost, AGAIN! But there's this one local man yang very helpful dia siap tolong show us the way. Not just show tau, but he guided us there! Padahal masatu kena lintas jalan je, the restaurant was just across the road weh! Respect! This restaurant is pricey lah I would say. Memang mahal gils, kitorang kebuluran balik dari kedai tu ahahah! Sedih betul LOL. Tapi kan, kalau korang tak kisah nak spend banyak untuk food, try lah daging dia sebab nampak sedap weh ahahah! Kat situ kitorang order Garlic Fried Rice. Sedap memang sedap tapi harga dia nangis! Tips dia, jangan convert duit dia kepada RM haha. Kalau x kebuluran kah uolls macam kitorang hahahaha!

I think these are the only restaurants we ate while we're in Asahikawa. I couldn't recall if we went to other restaurants there. Breakfast and usually we would cook our own food and we would go out and find food only for dinner. We had only 2 meals in a day LOL. Jimat punya pasal, terpaksa ikat perut sikit. So that is it for now, if you guys want to know more Muslim-friendly restaurants in Asahikawa, you can just google for the Muslim-friendly food Asahikawa map. I lost the pic, so sorry couldn't help with that! Okay so that is it for now. Hope this benefits you! Matane!!!
