Hi peeps! Tonight I feel like talking about Asahikawa!!! So excited!!!! The first city we stopped by in Hokkaido and its my second favourite city in Hokkaido (there're only 3 cities in total haha). So after we touched down, we went straight to the hotel, Hotel Route Inn Asahikawa. The hotel was superb I tell you! It was my first time experiencing a Japanese hotel, and this one, totally nailed it! This was how our room looked like What I love about Japanese hotels is that they took care of your necessities really well. When I say they take care of you, I'm serious. No joke. You just need to come and bring your daily clothes and that's all. They provide you other necessities such as toiletries; toothbrush, toothpaste, razor, facial wash, shampoo, conditioner, you name it! They even provide pajama can you imagine that! Here goes, the long awaited, and the most requested post ever! In this post, I will share about what I did throughout my 4 years of degree taking ENCOM (2014-2018). However, the comments and review regarding the subjects may differ from what other people thought because my comments are made based on my understanding and judgment.  Without further ado, here goes! As you guys might know already by now, ENCOM is an English course that consists of 2  ½  elements; Communication, Linguistics and a half of Management. If you think ENCOM is the same as TESL or BENL (Bachelor in English Language and Literature), hmmmm think again haha! Our subjects are mixtures of communication and linguistics . Moving on, what captured my attention the most was the view. The view of Hokkaido from above was superb, and I could not stop myself from recording and capturing the view until we landed!  The view was mostly white because the land was covered with snow, but there were some drying trees still available. We could see mountains from up there (which I bet it was Mt. Fuji) because the mountain was quite far from where we flew at that time. In conclusion, I was completely stunned by the spectacular different views! (((o(*ﾟ▽ﾟ*)o))) Our flight from Malaysia was at 11.30pm and we arrived New Chitose Airport at around 6.50am the next day. When we arrived, the weather was shocking -16 ° c! Luckily we brought our jacket inside our hand carry bag and wore our long johns from Malaysia, or else we would be freezing.  After claiming our luggages, we went to JR Hokkaido counter to validate our JR Hokkaido Rail pass. If you're planning to go to Hokkaido during winter, then make sure you have the suitable clothing for the season. Don't take this lightly because the weather in Japan can be very extreme. I've read a lot of people saying that winter in Japan is way colder than winter in Europe (not sure about other countries though). Like I've mentioned in my previous post, when we arrived there, the temperature was below freezing! So in this post, I'll be sharing the suitable clothing and things that can warm you up well in winter. 1. Long johns / heattech This will be your first layer therefore they are super duper important. Without em you're likely to freeze and suffer hahaha! Long johns are like leggings and inner, but the materials used are warm materials such as wool or some other materials that I can't remember.
